In 2025, I attended ICARE_2025, a prestigious international training program dedicated to the study of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), held in France. The event brought together researchers, clinicians, and experts from various disciplines to discuss emerging challenges related to the spread of bacterial resistance and innovative strategies to counteract it.
During the course, I had the opportunity to deepen my understanding of key topics relevant to my MSCA project, including:
• molecular mechanisms of antibiotic resistance
• advanced methods for the surveillance and identification of resistant pathogens
• experimental and computational approaches to study host–pathogen interactions
• new therapeutic and diagnostic perspectives
Participating in ICARE_2025 was an important training and networking opportunity, enabling me to integrate new scientific and methodological skills into my research project.
