Gordon Research Conference

In July 2025, I took part in the Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Tuberculosis, held in Barcelona, an internationally recognized event in the field of tuberculosis research. The GRC annually gathers leading scientists to foster the exchange of innovative ideas and advance knowledge on the biological and clinical mechanisms underlying Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection.

During the conference, I had the opportunity to explore:

• the latest discoveries on pathogenicity and persistence mechanisms

• new experimental approaches to study host–pathogen interactions

• emerging strategies for the development of vaccines and innovative therapies

• advanced modelling tools and omics technologies applied to tuberculosis

Participating in the GRC represented a significant opportunity for professional and scientific growth, allowing me to connect with international experts and incorporate essential knowledge into the continuation of my MSCA project.
